AVE is now Windows 7 certified!

I’m happy to be able to announce that we have received Windows 7 logo certification for our Application Virtualization Explorer Professional.

Compatible with Windows 7 -logo

This (primarily) means that the product has passed certain criterias set by the Microsoft for applications that claim to play well in Windows 7 operating systems, including having proper install/uninstall behaviour, playing well in the multi-user scenario and so forth. Since we believe in our product’s quality, getting the certification is an important step for us to be able to show our commitment on making great software products that adhere to Microsoft guidelines for applications running on Windows.

Note that this certification is indeed only for Windows 7 since server -side logo certification is a different (and little bit longer) path with a requirement of using external certification party. But even without official certification we do know that AVE works equally well in Windows 2008 R2 environments as it does in the workstation -side!
